About Dr. Andreena Jackson, DBH

Board Member Dr. Jackson holds a Doctorate in Behavioral Health (DBH) with a focus on Integrated Care and is a dedicated professional. Dr. Jackson has over 13 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Social Worker and National Association for Developmental Disabilities (NADD) Certified professional. With these certifications, she has provided biopsychosocial assessments, counseling, and case management.

Mental Health

Dr. Jackson is a member of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). There, she holds a certification in Quality Improvement in Healthcare. Dr. Jackson has a passion for integrated healthcare, behavioral health, and developmental disabilities. She has honed her clinical skills in working with patients experiencing trauma, severe depression, and anxiety resistant to medication therapy. She also works with patients with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and personality disorders.

In addition to mental health, Dr. Jackson is also a Licensed Adult Family Home provider in Ohio. She contracted with the ADAMHS Board in 2008. She supervises a staff of 10 providers, including LSWs, Home Care Providers, and Case Managers. Additionally, she facilitates trainings related to Behavioral Health and Motivational Interviewing.

Multidisciplinary Approach

As a collaborative professional, Dr. Jackson addresses referrals from healthcare providers. She also conducts follow-up consultations, and participates in monthly Cleveland Clinic multidisciplinary meetings to assess needs and coordinate services. She maintains a caseload of 15 to 20 patients weekly, seeing a minimum of 5 patients per day. Dr. Jackson serves on the board of the American Association of Doctors of Behavioral Health as a board member.
